Hallup, the Halal Traveler App, won Top10 Consolation Prize 11th-20th competition in Cyberjaya, Malaysia. It was a collaborative project created by Karunia Utami, Ruzeilawati Wasi'atu Lathifah (me), Suci Rahayu A, and Vito Melvin. Later, I improved this project as part of my case study.
Project Overview
USER
The user is a moslem traveller who wants to travel around the world with halal tourism. They can search for and discover restaurants, hotels, and attractions that support halal tourism on this platform. Additionally, they can book their destinations through this platform. This platform also includes prayer times, qibla, and maps to locate the nearest mosques.
CHALLENGE
Hallup is a product that was designed for the GIW Competition but has not yet launched. After years, Hallup needs a redesign to make it more user-friendly because the previous design had no balance, insufficient white space, too much information, and was difficult to digest.

SOLUTIONS
To ensure ease of use for the users, the designer will create wireframes before beginning the app's UI design that focus on user convenience in using the app. Then, the designer will develop a design system to maintain design consistency.

Wireframe
Creating basic wireframe as outlines of logo, image, action button, and other elements.

Valuable Takeaways
Through Figma Master Class: Design & Prototype your First Mobile App Idea class, I learned that a designer should carefully consider the font size based on the device environment and control the color adjustments of hue, saturation, and brightness within a safe range. This approach will make the app accessible to comprehensive audience.
